90s Tribute Band 40th Birthday Party, Britpop Boys Take A Trip To Northumberland, August 2018
Suzanne was turning 40 and wanted to mark it properly, 90’s style, and that’s exactly the kind of brief Britpop Reunion, the UK’s best 90s cover band, exists for when booked as your 90s party band. Take a look at our Vlog style video below documenting the trip up to, and the performance at, this high end Northumberland celebration. The live set that night included Ready To Go, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Disco 2000 and Put Your Hands Up by Reef.
Ready To Go was written by Republica and reached number 5 in the UK charts in 1996, and you can hear our take on it on the Ready To Go page. Disco 2000 was written by Jarvis Cocker for Pulp and appeared on their 1995 album Different Class, reaching number 7 in the UK, with more detail on our Disco 2000 page. Put Your Hands Up was written and performed by Reef, taken from their 1997 album Glow, and you can see it covered properly on the Put Your Hands Up page. Cigarettes & Alcohol, written by Noel Gallagher for Oasis from their 1994 debut Definitely Maybe, peaked at number 7 in the UK, and has its own write up on our Cigarettes & Alcohol page.

Britpop & 90s Acoustic Duo, Birmingham, August 2018
Nineties cover band Britpop Reunion offer several formats to choose from, including 90’s acoustic solo, duo, trio and full quartet line ups. Here we’re performing as a duo at a smart Edgbaston bar in Birmingham, working through big 90s tunes including Country House by Blur, Made Of Stone by Stone Roses and Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve. Country House was written by Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon and gave Blur their first UK number one in 1995, with the full story on our Country House page.
Made Of Stone was penned by Ian Brown and John Squire of The Stone Roses for their self titled 1989 debut album, reaching number 20 in the UK on re-release, and you can see it performed live on our Made Of Stone page. Bitter Sweet Symphony, written by Richard Ashcroft from The Verve (not) Mick Jagger and Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones, came from the 1997 album Urban Hymns and reached number 2 in the UK, a song we cover in full on our Bitter Sweet Symphony page.

Headline Festival Performance, G-Fest To A 3000+ Crowd, Leeds, July 2018
Headlining this festival had the crowd in full voice for songs by Oasis, Robbie Williams, Deep Blue Something and a string of other huge 90s cover band favourites. ‘Britpop Reunion’ don’t approach this the way other 90’s covers bands do. We go further than most to prove we’re the right 90s band to book, which is partly why we keep a running set of Vlogs documenting our travels around the country to play 90’s weddings, 90’s festivals, 90’s birthday parties and everything in between. This is us at G-Fest.

60th Birthday Party Band, Nottinghamshire, May 2018
A proper celebration with Miles and all his friends and family at this venue in Normanton on the Wolds. Among the night’s highlights was Parklife, written by Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree of Blur, the title track of their 1994 album, which reached number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. You can find more on the song over on our Parklife page.

90s Wedding Band Music Video Vlog, Leicestershire, August 2017
Britpop Reunion are the nineties cover band most UK couples land on first for their wedding, largely because we know exactly how a wedding reception unfolds and what clients actually want from the entertainment. Our brit pop boys take any hiccups completely in their stride and can sort out most problems that crop up without missing a beat, still delivering a strong performance by the end of the night. Among the songs played was the Oasis favourite that asks whether it’s worth the aggravation to find yourself a job when there’s nothing worth working for.

90’s Festival Wedding Band, Leicestershire, July 2017
A festival held in a field, organised entirely by a Bride and Groom who are genuine 90’s music fans. Watch as we entertain clients and guests alike as their 90’s tribute band, including a run through Stone Roses material. More live footage like this sits on our 90’s YouTube channel.

Music Video At Penryn University 90’s Party, Cornwall, January 2017

Music Video I’m A Believer, Norfolk, April 2016
Watch over 750 paying punters go properly wild at this sold out ticketed event in Norfolk for the 90’s version of “I’m A Believer” by EMF featuring Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. The song was originally written by Neil Diamond, though EMF’s cover, recorded for the 1995 film comedy Married 2 Malcolm, topped the UK Singles Chart at number one. There’s more on the song’s history over on our I’m A Believer page. It’s remarkable how well this one still lands with a crowd today.
