Andy from Britpop Reunion tribute to the 90s pulls out his acoustic guitar once more for Good Riddance Time of Your Life by Green Day Cover. This mellow punk song was released December 1997 and reached number 11 in the UK singles chart.

Featured here is The One And Only Chesney Hawkes Cover by Britpop Reunion 90s party band performed live at one of our 90’s Party Nights. Released in January of 1991 this tune reached number 1 in the singles charts in both UK and Austria (As well as top 10 positions in many the countries). The One And Only Chesney Hawkes Cover

The song was written by 80s massive pop start Nik Kershaw and was featured in the film ‘Buddy’s Song’ featuring Chesney Hawkes as Buddy a Roger Daltrey as his father. (This was actually a sequel film to the six part 1986 TV show ‘Buddy’ that starred Wayne Goddard as Buddy Clark)

 

 

To this day the film Buddy’s Song has STILL not been released on DVD and is only available secondhand on VHS.

The music video to this early 90s pop single features a young Saffron from Republica who later scored a hit herself with Ready To Go.
